About
Welcome!
I am a researcher, teacher, and mom to two adorable kids and one cute and cuddly rescue pup.
I am passionate about contributing to efforts to achieve health equity by fostering an understanding of the psychological, social, and structural factors that shape health outcomes across the lifespan.
In my lab, we apply insights from clinical, developmental, and social psychological science to understand and address pressing issues in maternal and child health.
I received my Ph.D. at UCLA and spent seven years focused on undergraduate teaching at Dickinson College. I have recently joined the faculty in the Department of Psychology at Stony Brook University and will be reviewing applications to the Ph.D. program in Social and Health Psychology for Fall 2025.
